Multicultural school festivals as a creative space for identity construction – the perspective of minority parents

چکیده
In this article, we explore how minority parents construct and promote cultural identities through a multicultural school event in Norway. Such events respond to the call for diverse inclusive initiatives facilitate learning, belonging, cohesion schools. Schools see these as helping further inclusion. Prior research on subject has criticised such promoting essentialist understandings of identities, hence regarding them counterproductive aim This directed scarce attention participant perspective, among parents. Inspired by broad understanding linguistic landscaping, documented displayed representations at stalls.
